With the storms of the weekend nearly a thing of the past there is plenty to catch up with, so let´s start with a quick catch-up concerning the areas and resorts of Tenerife.

Los Cristianos.

Originally the resort of Los Cristianos began life as a traditional fishing village and over time has turned itself into one of the most popular holiday destinations in Europe. Located on the southwest coast of the island the resort of Los Cristianos enjoys fantastic sunsets. On clear evenings you can see the sun set behind the three neighbouring islands of La Gomera, La Palma and El Hierro. From the harbour the local Fred Olsen and Armas ferries run a connection between these islands and Tenerife which provide important trade, business and touristic links between the islands. The resort of Los Cristianos boats several fantastic beaches. Some of them are man-made and are composed of deep, fine golden sand which is just perfect for sunbathing on, whilst there are also a couple of natural beaches which provide a less sandy environment to enjoy and they are also very good for scuba diving and snorkelling. The beachfront is of course, dominated by a multitude of bars and restaurants which cater for almost every possible taste and cuisine. During the evenings the resort comes to life with a wide range of different forms of entertainment that can provide light-hearted entertainment for everyone to enjoy.

Moving inland from the coastal area of Los Cristianos there are many hotels, residential and non-residential complexes that house the throng of tourists who come to the resort of Los Cristianos annually. Aside from tourist accommodation, Los Cristianos boasts an impressive array of residential property. There are many different styles of apartments, such as studios, duplexes and penthouses. On the outskirts of Los Cristianos there are larger residential complexes containing grand villas, often with private gardens and swimming pools and there are also independent properties such as houses and fincas which are self contained with ample gardens or surrounding farmland.

The centre of Los Cristianos is a bustling town. There are shops and bazaars, chic boutiques and many bars, cafés and restaurants, which once again appeal to many different tastes. There is an easily accessible bus terminal which provides access to the rest of the island. There are regular bus services which connect Los Cristianos with the other southern resorts, Reina Sofia airport and of course the capital of the island Santa Cruz de Tenerife. Los Cristianos also has excellent medical facilities with a doctors surgery and small hospital lying just outside of the town. Sunday is the day for the very popular Los Cristianos market which offers various different wares such as clothing, souvenirs and general bits and bobs.

Currently we have an extensive range of all manner of property for sale in Los Cristianos.
