The Councillor for Tourism in Tenerife Recently travelled to the UK to run a presentation and to collect an award in the World Travel Market trade fair. The award was for the best destination for group breaks. The Councillor stated that the presentation was to influence British tourists that still do not think of Tenerife as a holiday destination. The councillor explained that Tenerife is already the top destination in the Canary Islands for British tourists, but the main objectives of the presentation was to attract potential new customers.
