Cheeses that are produced on the Island of Tenerife will soon have a Brand and assurance 'Rural Tenerife' set up by the Cabildo de Tenerife. This will aid farm cheeses with production and marketing. A statement made by the Island Councillor of Agriculture stats; "with the quality mark we can publicise the great features of our cheeses, optimising the product and improve its marketing." Still produced by traditional procedures of raw goats milk and under the new branding conditions cheese has been and is to remain one of Tenerife's great products.
