Rod Stewart set to perform in Tenerife

Rod Stewart is set to perform in Tenerife and expect a momentous night again in Golf Costa Adeje. This is planned to take place on Saturday 16th May. This follows the performance from Elton John which was a great event at the same venue. Canarias Live Sun Festival, which is the company that promoted Sir Elton John said in a statement released this week; \"We have agreed terms of a contract with Rod Stewart and we are working to promote another three great artists for the year of 2009\". There is speculation as to the other three further international artists that may arrive on the shores of Tenerife, and in the same statement it was meantioned; \"Once you prove you can do it with two major names all the others will want to follow\". Before the official press conference Diego Cano said; \"In the current economic climate we’re either brave or very crazy. Someone had to do something to stimulate all the business activities. It’s very good for everyone, it puts South Tenerife on the map as an international circuit for big artists. We’re doing this for all of us, airlines, hotels, restaurants, bars etc.\"
