London style taxi in Tenerife

A London style taxi will begin circulation in the capital of Tenerife next March. The Professional Association of Taxis organized an event in which many authoritive members of the Canarian Government attended. The Tenerife Cabildo were presented with a vehicle that meets the expectations of the sector to compare against the existing brands. The president of the Professional Association of Taxis, Tomas Guillen, stressed that the design and implementation of the car was specifically manufactured to cover the taxi service. The latest version has been designed with important logistics focused on safety of both the driver and the passenger, with addition extensive design and equipment for people with disabilities. These models have traditionally been used in England and have been stated to have good results. The first models of the London Taxi can be seen in Santa Cruz starting in February or March 2009.
