Annual Romeria in Adeje

The yearly festivities dedicated to Santa Ursula, have taken place over the last two weeks. The Romeria (pilgrimage dedicated to the local saint) took place on Sunday, with a big parade with floats and pilgrims in regional dress. The parade finished at the church where fruit and vegetables were given for charity. The day was well enjoyed by the locals and the visitors alike, with lots of meat, fruit, fish and wine consumed. A really great time out for all the family.
